Foreign Minister, H.E. Mr. Fuad Hussein contacted his Egyptian counterpart, H.E. Mr. Sameh Shoukry, and commended the efforts of the Arab Republic of Egypt to reach a ceasefire agreement against Palestinian citizens in the Gaza Strip.

The two sides also discussed during their contact the bilateral relations and the importance of pushing them to wider scopes and strengthening work within the tripartite coordination mechanism between Iraq, Egypt and Jordan.
