Iraqi Ambassador to Prague Meets with the Undersecretary of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs and discusses with him the decision of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories
The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Prague, H.E. Ms. Sundus Omar Ali, in her capacity as Chair of the Group of Ambassadors of the Member Countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in the Czech Republic (OICPG), accompanied by a number of ambassadors of the group met with the Czech Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Martin Tlapa and handed him a copy of the resolution issued by the virtual open-ended urgent meeting for the Executive Committee at the level of foreign ministers of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to discuss the attacks carried out by Israel in the occupied Palestinian territories, specifically the city of Jerusalem.
The ambassador indicated that the resolution called on the Israeli entity to immediately stop the brutal attacks on civilians, to address the causes of the conflict, and to emphasize the need for the Israeli entity to adhere to international law and international humanitarian law, and to work for the Palestinian people to obtain their full rights, and to establish peace in the Middle East region in accordance with the resolutions issued by the United Nations.
