Ambassador of Iraq to the State of Kuwait receives Dean of Board of Executive Directors and Executive Director of World Bank Group

On 19 April 2021, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the State of Kuwait H.E. Al-Manhal Al-Safi received Dr. Mirza Hassan, Dean of the Board of Executive Directors and CEO of the World Bank Group, and Dr. Ghassan Al-Khawja, the resident representative in the World Bank office in Kuwait.

During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues that the world bank undertook as a contributor to the Kuwait Conference for Reconstruction, organized by the State of Kuwait, and the bank’s plans to support development and investment projects in Iraq , in addition to ways of coordinating the efforts made by the World Bank to achieve economic and social development that contributes to supporting Iraq.
