The Consul General of the Republic of Iraq in Montreal Meets with the Mayor of the City

The Consul General of the Republic of Iraq in Montreal, Mr. Sarmad Muwafaq Al-Taie, met the Mayor of Montreal, Mrs. Valérie Plante, through video conference.

During his speech, Mr. Al-Taie expressed his happiness with this meeting and his aspiration to strengthen relations between the consulate and the Mayor in a way that contributes to providing the best services to the Iraqi community in Montreal.

For her part, Mrs. Plante, welcomed this meeting and affirmed her happiness to facilitate the tasks and needs of the Iraqi consulate, and expressed her readiness to provide facilitations through her office and the team working with her.
