Acting Head of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences Meets Syrian Ambassador to Iraq

On 12 April 2021, the acting head of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences Dr. Abbas Obaid met Mr. Sattam Jadaan Al-Dandah, Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic to Iraq at the Foreign Ministry headquarters.

During the meeting, they discussed issues raised in international organizations and developments related to them.

Mr. Obaid emphasized Iraq’s principled stances on discussed topics, pointing to the importance of considering these topics and dealing with them from their legal, technical and humanitarian dimensions.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides affirmed the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries and their aspiration to enhance fruitful bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
