Head of Human Rights Department meets Chief of Human Rights Office at United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI)

On 25 March 2021, the Head of the Human Rights Department Dr. Ali Hilal met with Ms. Danielle Bell, Chief of the Human Rights Office at UNAMI, and the representative of the United Nations’ High Commissioner for Human Rights in Iraq.

During the meeting, they reviewed the role of UNAMI in providing support and assistance to the Iraqi government in the field of promoting and protecting human rights and the areas that the Iraqi government wishes to promote and highlight in accordance with the office’s mandate and the Iraqi laws in force.
