Ministry’s Senior Undersecretary Presides Iraqi Side at Iraqi-Czech Political Consultations

On 22 March 2021 H.E. Mr. Nizar Al-Khairallah, the Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs chaired the meeting of the Iraqi side in the round of political consultations between the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which was held via video conference, while the Czech Foreign Ministry Undersecretary H.E. Mr. Martin Tlapa led his country’s delegation in those consultations.
During the meeting, they discussed issues related to developing bilateral cooperation between Iraq and the Czech Republic in various political, economic, scientific and cultural fields, as well as activating means for developing bilateral cooperation between the two countries in these aspects.
They also discussed a number of current international issues, crises and security challenges facing the region, especially with regards to issues of extremism and combating terrorism, and the need for concerted international efforts to support stability and international security.
