Acting Head of Arab Department Meets The Ambassador of The Arab Republic of Egypt to Iraq

The acting head of the Arab Department, Mr. Osama Ghanem, met with the Egyptian Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Walid Muhammad Ismail.

The two sides discussed bilateral relations, and ways to improve the scope of cooperation between Baghdad and Cairo.
Mr. Ghanem expressed Iraq’s keenness to support Iraqi-Egyptian relations in order to achieve strategic partnership to meet the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples and achieve their common interests, prosperity and development.
The two sides also discussed the mechanism for preparing and coordinating the tripartite meeting between Iraq, Jordan and Egypt, to be held in Baghdad, in the coming period.
