Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein Meets with his Bahraini Counterpart, and Affirms that Exiting Conflict Requires More Coordination
Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein met with his counterpart Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani and discussed with him the bilateral relations and the importance of mutual support at all levels.
This came on the sidelines of a visit by the Minister to the Greek capital Athens, upon the invitation of his Greek counterpart Mr. Nikos Dendias.
The two sides discussed during the meeting the outcomes of the Al-Ula summit and its implications for the unity of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and its positive implications for the common Arab interests.
The two sides also discussed the latest developments at the regional level and coordination on the most important issues related to the security and stability of the region and the need to take realistic initiatives that lead to establishing a balance in a way that guarantees the interests of all parties in the region.
The two sides discussed the most important decisions that resulted from the emergency meeting of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level, which was held in Cairo, and confirmed that the League’s consultative meeting was an important step towards changing the foundations of work at the League.
