Foreign Minister Receives Copy of Credentials of New Ambassador of Arab Republic of Egypt to Iraq
Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein received a copy of the credentials of the new Aambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr. Walid Mohamed Ismail, on Saturday, February 6, 2021.
The Minister expressed the Foreign Ministry’s readiness to provide the necessary support for the success of the Egyptian diplomatic mission in Iraq to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries, especially since the two countries hVe a distinct strong civilization and a long history that makes them close in many areas, stressing that Iraq is looking forward to more cooperation, exchange of intelligence information and security coordination to confront remnants of Da’esh terrorist organisation.
On his part, Ambassador Walid Mohamed Ismail conveyed the greetings of the Egyptian Foreign Minister, Mr. Sameh Shoukry to the Minister, stressing that his country is looking forward to establishing better relations with Iraq.
