Foreign Minister Receives Turkish Ambassador on Occasion of Ending his Tenure in Baghdad

Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein received the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey on the occasion of ending his duties at the Baghdad on Tuesday 19/01/2021. The meeting reviewed the progress of bilateral relations between Baghdad and Ankara, and emphasized the importance of increasing cooperation in all fields.

The Minister wished the Ambassador success in his future diplomatic duties, praising the efforts of the Ambassador in strengthening bilateral relations, calling for the need to establish new prospects for cooperation between the two countries, work and coordinate to provide security and stability for the whole region and the world.

On his part, Mr. Fatih Yildiz thanked the Foreign Ministry for the success of the diplomatic mission in Baghdad, affirming his country’s continued support for Iraq and work to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
