Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein: We emphasized the importance of Iraq being a meeting point for common interests and avoid it to become a reflection of axes conflict

Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein received National Security Adviser Mr. Qassem Al-Araji. During the meeting they discussed the latest political developments and the approach adopted to contribute to Iraq’s interests through balanced foreign relations, and emphasize their development within the regional and international arenas.

The two sides affirmed the importance of continuing openness to the countries of the world for the interest of Iraq and its people, while emphasizing Iraq’s steadfast position to be a meeting point for common interests and to remain distant from the axes of conflict and crises.
