Head of International Organizations and Conferences Department Meets Chinese Ambassador to Iraq

The head of the International Organizations and Conferences Department Mr. Ali Hilal met with Mr. Zhang Tao, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Iraq at the Ministry’s headquarters, and the two sides discussed ways to enhance the role of the two countries in international organizations, including the United Nations, and discussed initiatives to reform the Security Council and government discussions on this topic, in addition to discussing the Chinese initiative on data security and promoting the digital economy, which has witnessed support from the League of Arab States, and the role of Iraq as a member.
