The Acting Head of the Arab Department Meets with Greek Ambassador to Iraq

Mr. Osama Mahdi Ghanem, Acting Head of the Arab Department met with Mr. Mr. Leonidas  Contovounesios  , the Greek Ambassador to Iraq at the Foreign Ministry and  discussed ways to improve bilateral cooperation and develop relations between the two countries.

The acting head of the Arab Department affirmed Iraq’s keenness to establish enhanced relations with Greece’s government and people, referring to the historical relations that link the two countries.
