The Embassy of Republic of Iraq in Rome Celebrates Centenary Anniversary of the Founding of Iraqi Army

The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq and the Military Attaché in Rome organized a celebration on the centenary of the founding of the Iraqi army in the presence of the embassy and military attaché staff to salute and congratulate the Iraqi army.

 Ambassador Safia Al-Suhail and Brigadier General Ali Abbas saluted and congratulated the heroes of the army, and recalled their heroic stances and wished the Iraqi army more victories and progress, the martyrs of Iraq were remembered, and Surat Al-Fatihah was recited to their souls.

The Ambassador referred to the measures imposed by the Italian government due to the Covid 19 pandemic, which prevented the organization of a large celebration worthy of the Iraqi army with the participation of government and diplomatic missions operating in Italy as previously planned.
