Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets His Azerbaijani Counterpart and Calls for Providing Facilities to Iraqi Students and Citizens Wishing to visit Azerbaijan

The Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein has met theForeign Minister of Azerbaijan, in his capacity as current Chairman of the Non-Aligned Movement, Mr. Jeyhun Bayramov, on the sidelines of his participation in the meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement and the celebration of the 60th anniversary of holding of the first conference of the Movement in the Serbian capital, Belgrade.

During the meeting, a number of regional and international issues, and the roles played by the Non-Aligned Movement in light of the political and security developments in the world have been discussed. The two sides also discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop them in all fields, as the Minister Fuad Hussein called for providing facilities to grant entry visas for Iraqi students and citizens wishing to visit Azerbaijan for various purposes.

On his part, the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister stressed the depth of the multiple ties that unite the two countries and his country’s efforts to strengthen them. 

The two sides agreed on the importance of exchanging visits and meetings between the two countries, asgovernment, and people, and increasing the horizons of cooperation to serve mutual interests.
