Foreign Minister Meets Serbian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Agriculture

The Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein has met the Serbian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Agriculture, Branislav Nedimovic, on the sidelines of his participation in the meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement and the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the holding of the first conference of the Movement at the Serbian capital Belgrade.

During the meeting, the Minister has reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries in various aspects, noting the importance of the participation of Serbian companies in the field of agriculture, irrigation, and food industries, and the conveyance of advanced Serbian agricultural expertise and techniques to Iraq through investment, development, and capacity building.

On his part, the Serbian Minister of Agriculture has praised the historic depth of bilateral relations between Iraq and Serbia, expressing his readiness to convey to Iraq the expertise and advanced technologies in the agricultural field. The two sides agreed on the importance of exchanging visits and delegations, as well as academics and experts in agricultural research centers, to study and meet the requirements.
