Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Abu Dhabi Visits University of Mohammed bin Zayed for Artificial Intelligence

Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Abu Dhabi , Dr. Mudhaffar Mustafa Al Jibouri, visited on Tuesday 5/10/2021 University of Mohammed bin Zayed for Artificial Intelligence

The Ambassador was received by Dr. Fakhrulddin Karai, President of the University, who gave a presentation on the fields and applications of artificial intelligence and academic programs at the university, as well as the university’s vision for the near future, in addition to their plan to increase the number of seats of students admitted to the postgraduate studies and academic specialties.

For his part, the ambassador indicated that this visit aims to develop the academic relations between Iraqi and the Emirati educational institutions, to achiev aspirations of the Iraqi government.

 The Ambassador stressed that the brotherly UAE is the best partner in the field of education and scientific research, especially in the arena of the artificial intelligence, as it has become one of the leading countries regionally and internationally through establishing the first university in the world for studies specialized in the artificial intelligence researches, as it is the language of the future to be a pioneer in scientific innovation.

The Ambassador discussed with the president of the university the mechanism and requirements for Admitting the first distinguished Iraqi students in research and academics to obtain degrees of  (Master’s and Doctorate) in the specialties available in the university, including Computer Vision and Machine Science (a branch of the artificial intelligence), as well as research fellowships for the Iraqi professors in Computer Science and Software Engineering and Robotics.
