Minister of Foreign Affairs receives copy of credentials of new Ambassador of Republic of Bangladesh to Baghdad

The Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein Received on Tuesday 17 August  2021 the new Bangladeshi Ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Amdi Fadloul. The progress of bilateral relations between Baghdad and Dhaka was reviewed and reviewed ways to strengthen them to serve the interests of the two friendly peoples.

The Minister stressed that Iraq is keen to establish the best relations with all countries of the world, to activate mutual interests and confront common risks.

Mr. Hussein called for the necessity of activating the agreements signed between Iraq and Bangladesh.

He expressed that Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ readiness to provide everything that would make the Bangladeshi mission to Baghdad successful in the framework of developing bilateral relations.

For his part, Mr. Amadi FAdhloul delivered his country’s congratulations to Iraq for the victories it achieved in its war against terrorism, the great success it had by getting out of the isolation it was suffering, the diplomatic openness and the development of its relations with the countries of the world, pointing to his country’s keenness to enhance cooperation, and the importance of exchanging visits between officials of the two countries.
