Foreign Minister concludes his visit to the United States of America with a meeting with Arab Ambassadors and Permanent Representatives to the United Nations in New York

Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein concluded his visit to the United States of America with a meeting with the Arab Ambassadors, Permanent Representatives to the United Nations in New York.

 During the meeting, the situation in the region and the world was reviewed. The Minister stressed the importance of cooperation, coordination, and maintaining commonalities between the countries of the region, noting that terrorism today affects many societies; which makes everyone responsible for confronting this global terrorist challenge, calling for supporting Iraq in its war against ISIS terrorists in coordination with the Iraqi government.

Mr. Hussein pointed out that the armed forces, the Popular Mobilization Forces, the Peshmerga, and the police are achieving great victories against terrorism, stressing that Iraq is determined to continue building bridges with all world countries, activating common interests, facing common dangers, and avoiding intersections the in the regional policy , stressing that Iraqi diplomacy adopts the language of dialogue in resolving the disputes facing Iraq, and invests its relations in the United Nations, the League of Arab States and all the international organizations to build the basic foundations of the democratic system and maintain its sovereignty.
