The Foreign Ministry Senior Undersecretary Meets the President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq

Mr. Nizar Al-Khairallah, Senior Foreign Ministry Undersecretary met with the head of the Organizing Committee to coordinate the visit of His Holiness the Pope to Iraq, Mr. Neverfan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, on 2/3/2021

During the meeting, they discussed coordination and joint cooperation between the relevant authorities in the federal government and the regional government regarding logistical and organizational matters related to the visit of His Holiness the Pope.
The two sides also stressed the importance of the visit being in the interest of Iraq and its many components.
