Foreign Minister Meets with his Saudi Counterpart and Discusses Procedures for Facilitating the Granting of Entry Visas to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its Embassy in Baghdad to Investors and Businessmen

In response to an invitation from his Saudi counterpart, Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein met with Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud yesterday, 22/2/2021.

The two sides discussed ways strengthening relations between the two brotherly countries, and means of activating cooperation in various fields including political, economic, investment, energy, and border issues.

The two sides also discussed the meetings of the Joint Higher Coordinating Committee, and their implications on the economic and investment conditions.

During the meeting, views were exchanged on issues of concern to the two countries on the regional and international arenas, in a way that contributes to supporting and strengthening security and stability in the region, and they emphasized strengthening coordination in the field of mutual support within the framework of multilateral diplomacy, especially for positions in international organizations.

The two sides also discussed procedures to facilitate the granting of entry visas to the Kingdom through its embassy in Baghdad to investors and businessmen as well as the mechanisms for initiating the implementing of the gift of the Custodian of the Two Mosques , King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to build the Sports City in Iraq.
