Foreign Minister Receives Copy of Credentials of the New Australian Ambassador to Iraq

On February 6, 2021, Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein received a copy of the credentials of the new Australian Ambassador to Iraq, Ms. Paula Ganly at the ministry building.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them to serve of the two friendly countries.

Minister Fuad Hussein affirmed the Foreign Ministry’s readiness to provide full support for the success of the mission of the Ambassador in her work in Baghdad, wishing her success in her work.

On her part, Ms. Paula Ganly affirmed that her country highly appreciates the efforts and sacrifices made by the Iraqi people in their war against Da’esh terrorists in defense of themselves and all countries of the world, stressing that her country will continue to provide assistance and support in many areas and looks forward to activating memorandums of cooperation between the two countries in the service of the two peoples and also indicated that she will make all efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries.
