Foreign Minister of Receives Copy of Credentials of New Indonesian Ambassador to Iraq

Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein received a copy of the credentials of Mr. Aylmar Lopes as Ambassador Extraordinaire and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Iraq. The two sides held talks on ways to improve bilateral relations between the two countries, and the importance of enhancing cooperation opportunities at various levels to meet the aspirations of the two peoples.

The Minister affirmed the Foreign Ministry’s readiness to provide all conditions that enable the performance of duties to the fullest, wishing the Ambassador success in his work. The Ambassador conveyed his greetings to the Indonesian Foreign Minister and invited him to visit Iraq.
On his part, the new Indonesian ambassador conveyed the greetings of the Foreign Minister of Indonesia to the Minister and gave an explanation of the work of Indonesian companies operating in Iraq and the trade relations between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Dr. Ali Yassin, Head of the Asia and Australia department, and Mr. Ali Shamran, Chief of the Protocol department in the Ministry .
