The Ambassador of Republic of Iraq to Athens Meets Cyprus’s Minister of the Interior

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Athens, Mr. Shorsh Khaled Saeed, met with the Cypriot Minister of the Interior, Mr. Nikos Nouris in his office.

During the meeting they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, exchanged views and proposals that contribute to their development, especially in the field of combating terrorism.

The Ambassador affirmed the necessity of securing the requirements of the Iraqi community and refugees in Cyprus, explaining: that Iraq encourages and supports the voluntary return of citizens, noting that the embassy continues to provide all possible facilities according to the instructions and directions.
