The Ambassador of Republic of Iraq to Moscow Meets Deputy Minister of Russian Ministry of Interior

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Moscow Dr. Abdel Rahman Hamid Al-Husseini met with the Deputy Minister of the Russian Ministry of Interior Mr. Igor Nikolaevich Zubov to discuss aspects of cooperation between Iraq and Russia in the light of the memorandum of understanding signed between the Iraqi and Russian ministries of the Interior.

At the beginning of the meeting, Ambassador Al-Husseini expressed the Iraqi embassy’s keenness to develop bilateral relations between Baghdad and Moscow in all fields, especially in the field of security cooperation.

During the meeting, the Ambassador discussed ways to facilitate the mechanism of granting entry visas to Iraqis wishing to visit Russia, and also discussed the problems that Iraqi students suffer in Russia, the most important of which is granting entry visas to their families.
