The Chargé d’affairs of Iraqi Embassy in Manila Meets The Philippine’s Foreign Minister

The Chargé d’affairs of Iraqi Embassy in Manila  Dr.  Khalil Jindi  Rasho met with  the Philippine’s  Foreign Minister, Mr. Teodoro Luxin at the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry and in the presence of the Undersecretary for Consular Affairs and Civil Security and the Assistant Head of the Middle East and Africa Department of the Philippine Foreign Ministry.

The Minister welcomed the Chargé d’Affaires and expressed gratitude for the assistance regarding the return of Filipinos who were detained at Baghdad International Airport on 13/1/2020, and facilitating the procedures for granting entry visas to the Filipino delegation to assist Filipino workers in Iraq, the Minister also stressed his thanks and gratitude to the Iraqi government and the Iraqi embassy in Manila for the invaluable assistance and cooperation they provided and their great efforts to strengthen and enhance the diplomatic relationship between the two countries.

On his part, the Iraqi Chargé d’affaires expressed his happiness and honor for the Minister’s  invitation to meet with him, and stressed that it is the duty of the embassy and its responsibilities to assist the Philippine government in order to strengthen diplomatic relations between the two countries.
