Foreign Minister Receives Two Members of the Council of Representatives, Dr. Khalaf Abdul Samad and Abdul- Ilah Al-Naili

Foreign Minister Mr. Mohamad A. Alhakim received members of the Council of Represantatives Mr. Khalaf Abdel Samad, head of the State of Law Bloc and Mr. Abdul-Ilah head of the Committee of Martyrs.

 During the meeting several issues were discussed, and the importance of achieving integration between the legislative and executive institutions was emphasized.

The Minister briefed the two representatives on the procedures of the Foreign Ministry regarding the implementation of the Martyrs Institution Law, and the administrative mechanisms that the Ministry followed in translating the provisions regarding the families of martyrs and political prisoners, confirming that the Ministry provides full support. The Ministry has developed an administrative and legal road map to ensure that they have access to all their rights in accordance with the applicable laws.

Minister Alhakim also briefed the guests on the Ministry’s procedures regarding the diplomatic session (28) that the Ministry intends to open, and the special privileges of martyrs and political prisoners, including: their exclusion from the age and average condition, in compliance with the laws in force.
