Foreign Minister Receives Phone Call from Secretary General of NATO

Foreign Minister Mr. Mohamad A. Alhakim received a phone call from Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) Mr. Jens Stoltenberg.
During the call they discussed developments in Iraq and the region in addition to the future of the relationship with the NATO and the ways of cooperation.
Minister Alhakim indicated the importance of strengthening the roles of Iraq in defending its sovereignty and avoiding it to be an arena for conflict.
