Head of Europe Department Meets Ambassador of Czech Republic to Iraq

Head of Europe Department, Ambassador Abdel-Karim Toama Mahdi Kaab met with the Czech Republic’s Ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Martin Vitek at the Ministry’s headquarters, and the two sides discussed strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, establishing prospects for cooperation in all political, economic, and cultural fields, and visits by high-level officials between the two countries, in addition to the agreements and memorandums of understanding to be signed between the two sides during the coming period.

The head of Europe Department affirmed the Iraqi government’s keenness to strengthen relations with the Czech Republic, expressing the Ministry’s readiness to provide support and assistance to the Czech embassy in all fields in coordination with the relevant Iraqi authorities in order to facilitate procedures for the work of the Czech mission and the Czech companies operating in Iraq.
