Foreign Ministry Official Spokesman Dr. Ahmed Al-Sahaf:

We have not been officially informed of the procedures of the United Arab Emirates in regard to stopping the granting of entry visas to Iraqi citizens, as the list included a group of countries, including Iraq. The Ministry is following the matter through diplomatic channels, and the Foreign Minister directed the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Abu Dhabi to follow up on the matter.
