Acting Head of Arab Department Meets with Palestinian Ambassador to Iraq

The acting head of the Arab Department Mr. Osama Mahdi Al-Rifai, met with Dr. Ahmed Aqel, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Iraq.

During the meeting, bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed and the depth of relations that bind both peoples, as Mr. Al-Rifai reiterated Iraq’s position in support of the Palestinian cause, and the Palestinian people’s right to establish their independent state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

On his part, the Palestinian Ambassador touched on the importance of activating the joint committee between Iraq and the State of Palestine.
