Ambassador Bakr Fattah Hussein Meets with Slovenian Interior Minister

The Ambassador of Republic of Iraq to the Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Bakr Fattah Hussein, met with the Slovenian Minister of Interior, Mr. Ales Hojs.
Ambassador Hussein expressed his thanks for the role that the friendly Republic of Slovenia has played and continues to play in supporting Iraq in its fight against terrorism and Daesh terrorist gangs and the need to continue its military fight against it, and affirmed Iraq’s desire to strengthen bilateral relations with Slovenia in various fields, especially security, and the exchange of information between the two countries.

Minister Hojs indicated the importance of Iraq’s stability in relation to Europe and their concern for the stability, safety and sovereignty of Iraq, adding that there is a security cooperation agreement between the two countries and there is no objection to the possibility of signing memorandums of understanding between the two countries that include important files.
