The Chargé d’Affairs a,i of Embassy of Republic of Iraq in Oslo Receives Special Envoy of Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Iraq and Syria

The Chargé d’affairs a.i of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Oslo, Mrs. Iman Hussein Alwan met with the Special Envoy of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Iraq and Syria, Ms. Hilde Haraldstad at the embassy building.

At the outset of the meeting, the Chargé d’affairs congratulated Mrs. Haraldstad on the occasion of assuming her new duties as the special envoy of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Iraq and Syria and wished her success in her work. The two sides also discussed regional and international issues of common interest, especially the efforts of Norway within the Global Coalition to Defeat Da’esh and in supporting Iraqi forces and their training, and praising the depth of the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Oslo, and the level of cooperation achieved between the two countries.

On her part, Mrs. Haraldstad expressed her aspiration to strengthen and develop relations between the two friendly countries.
