Acting Head of Human Rights Department Receives Deputy Head of European Union Delegation

The acting Head of the Human Rights Department Mr. Muhammad Saheb Majid received Deputy Head of European Union Mission, Mr. John Bernard accompanied by a number of officials of member delegations of the European Union to discuss some of the resolutions that will be presented to the Third Committee in the United Nations, and to request support from the Iraqi government regarding the resolutions.

On his part, the head of the department thanked the guests pointing out that Iraq seeks to promote human rights issues in the countries of the world, according to its social and constitutional determinants, at the conclusion of the meeting, they stressed the importance of continuing coordination as means for exchanging support.
