Foreign Minister Makes a Phone Call with his Egyptian Counterpart
Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein made a phone call with the Egyptian Foreign Minister Mr. Sameh Shoukry, and discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them between the two countries to achieve the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.
The two Ministers also discussed regional and international issues of common interest, and views were exchanged on solutions that rise to the level of ending the crises afflicting the region, and the need to make efforts to maintain security and stability in addition to stressing the importance of strengthening consultations and discussing a number of issues of regional concern to the two countries.
Minister Fuad Hussein affirmed the government’s keenness to provide a stable security situation for all diplomatic missions operating in Iraq, stressing Baghdad’s adherence to strategic relations with Cairo, and its aspiration to strengthen bilateral relations by expanding cooperation to achieve the common interests between the two countries and serve the two brotherly peoples.
