Deputy Head of Asia and Australia Department Meets with Bangladeshi Ambassador to Iraq

The Deputy Head of the Asia and Australia Department, Mr. Haider Al-Shamrati met with Mr. Abu Maksoud Farhad, the Bangladeshi ambassador to Iraq.
The two sides discussed several issues of bilateral cooperation and the importance of intensifying work to advance the distinguished relations between the two countries, including the opening of a direct flight line from Baghdad to Dhaka and vice versa? and the revitalization of trade exchange, and the conditions of the Bangladeshi workers in Iraq.
This meeting comes on the occasion of the end of the ambassador’s duties in Iraq.
