The Ambassador of Republic of Iraq in Cairo Meets with Egyptian Minister of Housing Utilities and Urban Communities

Mr. Ahmed Nayef Al-Dulaimi, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Cairo and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States met with Mr. Asim El-Jazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities.

Ambassador Al-Dulaimi expressed his aspiration for cooperation between the Iraqi and Egyptian governments in all fields, noting the importance of transferring Egyptian expertise in the field of housing and development, and the strong presence and participation of Egyptian contracting companies in implementing various projects.

The two sides also discussed the preparation and coordination for the joint Iraqi-Egyptian High Committee to be held in Baghdad in the coming period, headed by the Prime Ministers of the two countries.
Minister Al-Jazzar indicated his government’s keenness to hold meetings of this committee as soon as possible, considering that it is one of the most important mechanisms for activating cooperation between the two countries in many fields.
