Foreign Minister Receives a Copy of Credentials of Ambassador of the Holy See in Iraq

Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein received a copy of the credentials of the Ambassador of the Holy See Archbishop Mitja Leskovar.

The Minister affirmed that Iraq is pursuing the best relations with the countries of the world on the basis of the principle of achieving common interests, indicating that adopting the values ​​of coexistence, extending bridges of understanding and brotherhood, and accepting the other is a firm culture of the Iraqi people.

Minister Fuad Hussein noted that Iraq is determined to affirm the principle of citizenship and the freedom of belief for all citizens to enjoy.

Minister Fuad Hussein also expressed the Foreign Ministry’s readiness to provide all facilities to the Mission of the Holy See to make its mission a success in Baghdad, expressing his wishes for success to the Archbishop Mitja Leskovar.
