Foreign Minister Calls on Germany to Continue Carrying out Tasks Entrusted to it in Framework of Global Coalition to Defeat Da’esh Terrorist Organisation

Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein met with German Minister of Defense Mrs. Kramp-Karrenbauer and they discussed developments in the political and security situation in Iraq, and the existing coordination within the framework of the Global coalition to combat Da’esh terrorist organisation .
The Minister praised the German military role and support for Iraq in confronting Da’esh terrorist organisation and the two sides also discussed ways to prevent the return of terrorist groups again.
This meeting took place in the building of the German Ministry of Defense.
The Minister renewed the German side’s call to continue carrying out the tasks entrusted to it within the framework of the Global coalition to fight Da’esh terrorist organization , including training Iraqi forces and providing intelligence and technical support.
On her part, the German Minister affirmed the continuation of her country’s position in support of Iraq in various fields, especially those related to achieving regional security and stability.
