An Iraqi Military Plane Loaded with 12 Tons of Aid Arrives to Sudan
An Iraqi military plane loaded with 12 tons of aid arrived in Sudan, today, Saturday, September 12, as part of the assistance campaign provided by Iraq to help the Sudanese people, after the disaster of the floods that swept the country. The aids include essential food items, medical supplies and treatments in a first shipment as directed by the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi and under the direct supervision of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.
The shipment was received by the Chargé d’affairs of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Khartoum, Mrs. Salma Qaddouri Jaber and the embassy staff, and the representative of the Sudanese side from the Ministry of Health
who expressed the gratitude of the Sudanese government and people to the Iraqi government and people.
