Acting Head of Europe Department Meets the Ambassador of Czech Republic to Iraq

The Acting head of Europe Department Dr. Ali Shamran met the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Iraq, Mr. Martin Vitek.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, the Czech contribution to the NATO mission operating in Iraq, and the approval of the Czech parliament to extend the work of its country’s forces in Iraq for the period 2021-2022, in addition to the increase of the number of its personnel.
They also discussed increased cooperation between the two countries in various fields, and the completion of procedures related to the approval of memorandum of understanding in the areas of transportation, financial cooperation, double taxation, education, agriculture, and investment promotion.
