Iraq Participates in Meeting of League of Arab States 154th Regular Session at Ministerial Level
Iraq participated in the meeting of the League of Arab States Council / the 154th regular session at the ministerial level, with the participation of Arab foreign ministers through video conferencing.
The delegation of the Republic of Iraq was headed by the Foreign Ministry Senior Undersecretary Dr. Abdul Karim Hashim Mustafa, who represented the Foreign Minister and discussed the most important issues and challenges facing the Arab countries, and the joint Arab action in light of the circumstances that the Arab region is going through and witnessing of regional and international interventions, and he stressed the need to resolve differences through dialogue and peaceful means, and to avoid military solutions.
In the meeting, the State of Palestine received the presidency of the current session from the Sultanate of Oman (the president of the previous session 153).
The agenda included a number of basic items, including political, security, social, health, administrative, financial and cooperation with regional and international organizations.
