Acting Head of Europe Department Meets with Greek Ambassador to Iraq

The acting head of Europe Department Mr. Ali Shamran Hajim met with with the Greek Ambassador to Baghdad Mr. Leonidas Contofonios.
In the meeting, they discussed developing bilateral relations between the two countries, and coordinating the visit of the Foreign Minister of Greece, Mr. Nikolaos Dendias to Iraq. They also discussed the results of the last quartet meeting that was held in Amman on 14/4/2019 with the Foreign Ministers of the Republic of Iraq, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Greece and the Republic of Cyprus within the framework of (3 + 1) group and to study the possibility of holding the meeting in the appropriate conditions.
