Mourning

With sadness and sorrow, I mourn my friend, Ambassador Ahmed Bamerni, who passed away in Dohuk Governorate in the Kurdistan region.
The deceased Ambassador had represented Iraq in several forums, and held high diplomatic positions in several missions.
He left a good impression in the hearts of his loved ones and adherents, and achieved success and achievements that demonstrate his patriotism and love for Iraq, which history will immortalize with bright pages.
In this extreme adversity, we pray to God to grant him mercy and the vastness of heaven.
We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.
