Head of Neighboring Countries Department Meets with Iranian Ambassador to Iraq

The acting head of Neighbouring Countries Department Mr. Ihsan Al-Awadi met with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baghdad, Mr. Iraj Masjedi.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on the necessity of building bilateral relations between the neighboring countries, and ways to activate them in accordance with the principle of mutual interests and facing common risks, and the two sides stressed the importance of strengthening relations to serve the interests of the two peoples, in addition to discussing mechanisms for creating prospects of cooperation at all levels.
