Foreign Minister “The Prime Minister and the relevant Ministers have been following the case of kidnapped German citizen since its early hours”

Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein affirmed the depth and strength of bilateral relations between Baghdad and Berlin, and Iraq’s keenness to increase cooperation between the two countries to achieve the aspirations of both peoples.

This came in a phone call received from his counterpart, German Foreign Minister Mr. Heiko Maas, who expressed his thanks to the Minister, the government and the security services for the keen interest in the issue of the Iraqi guest, German activist Ms. Hella Mewis that was released from her captors by Iraqi security forces within 72 hours of her abduction.

Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein stated that: The Prime Minister and the concerned Ministers were following the issue of the kidnapped German citizen from the first hours of her kidnapping, and that the government has done its responsibilities.
