Since the outbreak of the viral pandemic, Iraqi embassies throughout the world have undertaken the task of communicating with all the governments in the framework of activating bilateral cooperation in the medical field and delivering curative and preventive medical assistance to Iraq to fill the shortage in hospitals, Iraqi embassies have obtained help in this field from different countries.

After persistent work and continuous coordination by the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Doha with the Qatari side, and the activity of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Baghdad in the framework of activating bilateral cooperation in the health field, two field hospitals arrived in the country that include various medical supplies, air conditioners, beds, and electric generators to help cope with the emerging coronavirus.

This comes to express the strength of fraternal relations that bind Iraq with the fraternal state of Qatar, and positions that are evident on the ground in times of adversity.

In this context, Iraq appreciates the position of the State of Qatar in the support it provided in this field, and affirms the depth and trust in the fraternal relations between our two countries and our peoples.
