The Head of Arab Department Meets with Ambassador of Arab Republic of Egypt in Iraq

The acting head of the Arab Department, Mr. Osama Mahdi, met with the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Iraq, Mr. Alaa El-Din Moussa.

Mr. Osama expressed Iraq’s keenness to cooperate with Egypt in various fields to achieve the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples, expressing the readiness of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry to provide all facilities for the success of the Egyptian diplomatic mission in Baghdad within the framework of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

On his part, Mr. Alaa El-Din the Egyptian ambassador expressed his country’s desire to strengthen bilateral relations with Iraq in all areas of mutual interest, and the importance of holding the meetings of the Iraqi-Egyptian joint committee as soon as possible.
