The Embassy of Republic of Iraq to Cairo Launches 17th Exceptional Flight to Baghdad
The 17th exceptional flight left Cairo Airport heading to Baghdad in coordination with the Crisis Cell and the Protocol Department at the Ministry and Iraqi Airways with 158 Iraqi passengers on board stranded in Egypt due to flight suspension as a precautionary measure against the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus.
The Iraqi embassy in Cairo, through its official account on social media, and its hotlines called on Iraqi citizens who wish to return to the country to register their data in order to return to Baghdad.
On his part the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq and permanent representative in the League of Arab States, Dr. Ahmed Nayef Al-Dulaimi praised the efforts of the airlines in operating flights, and the great cooperation shown by the Egyptian side in facilitating the preparation of flights.
The Ambassador also stated that the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Cairo continues to receive requests from those who entered the Arab Republic of Egypt for the purpose of tourism and treatment, who wish to return to Iraq.
